The Réseau express métropolitain (REM) is a 67-km light rail system with 26 stations linking downtown, the airport and the Greater Montréal area.
24 months. That’s how much time our teams needed to complete the REM planning phase, including the financing structure, procurement and technical studies.
The REM is the largest public transit project in Québec in the last five decades. Work began in spring 2018.
Once in service, the REM will help reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 680,000 tonnes over 25 years of operation.
We arranged to hold public consultations and information meetings throughout the REM project.
We will keep you updated on all news and developments regarding CDPQ Infra and our projects.
