Philippe Batani

Throughout his career, Philippe Batani has stood out for his unifying leadership, the quality of his advice, and his strategic vision. Since 2023, he has served as Executive Vice-President, Public Affairs, Communications and Strategy at CDPQ Infra, where he oversees media relations, internal and external communications, and stakeholder engagement.

Before joining CDPQ Infra, Philippe Batani was Vice-President, Communications and Public Affairs at La Caisse starting in 2017. In that role, he led a team with multiple areas of expertise, including outreach in Québec, international communications and internal communications. He was also responsible for building strong relationships with a wide range of political, social and environmental stakeholders, both in Québec and internationally. Prior to joining La Caisse, Mr. Batani was Senior Director at the communications agency TACT, where he advised various organizations in the investment, trade, energy, and infrastructure sectors. Earlier in his career, he held several leadership positions at Québec-based companies, including Énergir, and worked as an economist for the Government of Canada.

Philippe Batani holds a master’s degree in economics and remains actively involved with the Department of Political Science at Université de Montréal, where he earned his bachelor’s degree.
