Daniel Farina

Since joining CDPQ Infra in 2019, Daniel has held various leadership positions, becoming General Manager in 2023 and President and Chief Executive Officer in January 2026. His 25 years of experience in infrastructure across Europe, the Middle East and the Americas have given him a strong strategic vision and an excellent understanding of complex project delivery. He brings together high-performing teams with diverse backgrounds and builds trusted relationships with stakeholders. His mission: to bring meaningful initiatives to life that create long-term value for clients, partners and communities.

Throughout his career, Daniel has contributed to the development and delivery of major transportation, healthcare and energy infrastructure, both locally and internationally. His track record includes some of Québec’s most significant infrastructure achievements, including the Réseau express métropolitain and the new Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM). He also led activities related to public-private partnerships.

Daniel holds a master’s degree in industrial engineering and an Executive MBA from IE Business School. He has also completed executive education programs at Stanford University and Harvard University. Daniel is a member of the Order of Industrial Engineers of Madrid and served on several boards of directors and executive committees.
