California High-Speed Rail
California High-Speed Rail
CDPQ Infra is a member of Momentum Alliance Partners, an international consortium selected by the California High-Speed Rail Authority to evaluate the next phases of expansion of its high-speed rail network.
This collaboration aims, in particular, to explore delivery, financing, and asset value creation models that can support the expansion of the first high-speed rail network being built in North America, which will ultimately connect California’s major urban centres.
Drawing on the expertise developed through its projects, CDPQ Infra is contributing to the analysis of financing, delivery, and operating solutions designed to accelerate the implementation of this major mobility infrastructure and support its long-term viability.
Momentum Alliance Partners consists of the following partners:
CDPQ Infra, Plenary Americas, Keolis, SNCF Voyageurs, Jacobs, Sener, SYSTRA, Setec, Arup, and Steer.
Current stage
Over the current predevelopment and delivery evaluation phase, MAP evaluates infrastructure sequencing, delivery models, financing strategies, operational concepts and opportunities for private sector participation in future expansion segments.
MAP also assesses long‑term commercialization opportunities associated with the high-speed rail corridor.
