Use of artificial intelligence in CDPQ Infra social media and digital content

Artificial intelligence (AI) may be used to support the writing process (for example, to structure a text, rephrase ideas or facilitate review). CDPQ Infra teams remain responsible for published content and exercise editorial control over any content to which AI has contributed.

AI may be used to modify photos or videos using features built into editing software, provided that the visual content is not distorted and the final result consists primarily of original content. In addition, any edits to visual content must preserve the integrity of the information.

Guiding principles

Transparency: CDPQ Infra, its teams and suppliers acting on its behalf use artificial intelligence transparently and responsibly in their communications, particularly to maintain public trust.

Accountability: CDPQ Infra teams remain responsible for published content and verify anything produced, revised or enhanced by AI before it is published.

Authenticity and credibility: Any use of AI must preserve the authenticity and credibility of CDPQ Infra’s communications and publications, as well as the public’s trust in them.

CDPQ Infra teams use only pre-approved artificial intelligence tools.

Writing

  • Generative AI may be used to support the writing process (brainstorming, rephrasing, editing, summarizing and text structuring), provided that the final content is reviewed and approved before publication.
  • Published content must be substantially written by CDPQ Infra teams, even when AI contributions are incorporated directly.
  • The information presented in written content must be verified by the teams before publication.

Images and videos

  • Photos or videos may be modified using AI features built into editing software (for example, Canva or Photoshop), provided that the software is authorized by La Caisse’s IT security team and that the visual is not distorted.
  • Any alteration must preserve the integrity of the information—that is, it must not create a misleading impression of a place, event, person or situation. The final visual must consist primarily of original content. In this context, AI contributions must be limited to specific, modest additions that support the original creation.
  • No images generated entirely by AI are shared on CDPQ Infra platforms.
