Natividad Garcia Mayor
Vice-President, Engineering and Commercial, CDPQ Infra
Natividad Garcia Mayor was appointed Vice-President, Engineering, at CDPQ Infra in July 2023. Her role has since expanded to include commercial responsibilities. A trained civil engineer, she oversees the technical management of the subsidiary’s infrastructure projects and leads the commercial team responsible for the Réseau express métropolitain. She also played a key role in preparing the request for proposals for the high-frequency rail project (now a high-speed train) between Québec and Toronto.
She has over 25 years of experience working on major infrastructure projects, primarily in Spain, Portugal and Canada. She held various roles at the Spanish multinational Acciona, including Project Director for the extension of Highway 30 on Montréal’s South Shore. She was also involved in the new Champlain Bridge project in the city.
Natividad Garcia Mayor holds a master’s degree in civil engineering with a specialization in transportation from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, as well as an MBA in sustainable development.
