
Daniel Farina
General Manager, CDPQ Infra
Daniel Farina has been General Manager of CDPQ Infra since September 2023. In this role, he is responsible for providing overall leadership for the subsidiary’s activities.
Daniel Farina brings over 25 years of experience in managing and structuring major infrastructure projects around the world. He has played a central role in large-scale transactions in the healthcare, energy, and road and rail transportation sectors. Prior to his appointment as General Manager, he served as Vice-President of Operations.
Before joining CDPQ Infra in 2019, he worked for the multinational OHLA Group, where he oversaw the largest public-private partnership (PPP) project ever undertaken in Québec—the Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM). Over the course of his career, he has also held engineering, management, and executive roles on various infrastructure projects in Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America.
Educated in Spain, Daniel Farina holds a master’s degree in industrial engineering and an Executive MBA from IE Business School in Madrid. He has also completed executive leadership programs at Stanford and Harvard business schools in the United States.
Daniel Farina is a member of the Order of Industrial Engineers of Madrid and serves on several boards of directors, including those of the Quebec Infrastructure Council, the Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships, and the Nature Conservancy of Quebec. He is also a member of the Quebec Regional Advisory Board of the Nature Conservancy of Canada.
