Harout Chitilian joins the CDPQ Infra team

CDPQ Infra announced today that Harout Chitilian will be joining its team as Executive director, corporate affairs and development.

In this capacity, he will oversee government and community relations, internal and external communications, as well as the CDPQ Infra brand identity. Chitilian will therefore lead CDPQ Infra’s Public Affairs, Communications and Media Relations, and REM project teams.

Harout Chitilian has been a consultant for a range of information technology and telecommunications companies. He has also served as president of the Montréal city council before becoming vice chairman of the Ville de Montréal’s executive committee, during which time he was responsible for information technology and the digital and smart city strategy.

CDPQ Infra is a wholly owned subsidiary of Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, responsible for the development and operation of infrastructure projects, including the Réseau express métropolitain (REM). The REM is a new, 67-km integrated public transit network that will link downtown Montréal, the South Shore, the West Island (Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue), the North Shore (Deux-Montagnes) and the airport in a unified, fully automated LRT system.
